A simple way to commission a painting
I have painted many commissions over the years and continue to do so. I paint from life and in addition will use my photos for
reference. A small study is sometimes produced before proceeding with a large painting.
I enjoy working on large canvases.
If you have an idea for a painting, lets discuss it. Here is how my commission painting procedure works:
1.Artist & client agree on a subject, completion time and price.
2.The artist agreement is simple. The artist will paint the subject matter desired by the client in a way that best expresses the best of the artist. The artist will only agree to paint the subject matter that is esthetically and morally suitable to the artist.
3 If the client does not like the painting, the artist retains the right to the painting.
This page shows some examples of commissions and various subjects.
